Celadon · Ø 14 cm · 7 cm · 320 ml
Wide enough for both hands. A small iron spot near the rim, where the glaze ran thin.
Each piece is thrown by hand, dried for three weeks and fired with the full moon. Made slowly, to be held every day for years.
A bowl that fits both hands. A glaze that catches the first light. Lentaterra pieces are made for small daily rituals: porridge before the house wakes, tea with someone you love.
“Every bowl gets a quiet blessing before it goes into the kiln. I want it to carry that into your home.”
Inês, potter
Each piece is one of a kind. When it's gone, the next firing brings its quiet siblings, never its twin.
Celadon · Ø 14 cm · 7 cm · 320 ml
Wide enough for both hands. A small iron spot near the rim, where the glaze ran thin.
Tenmoku · Ø 12 cm · 8 cm · 280 ml
A deep iron glaze that breaks to rust at the rim. Heavier than it looks, made to be held slowly.
Ash · Ø 11 cm · 6 cm · 240 ml
Glazed with ash from the studio's wood stove. Speckled like an egg, with soft honey-coloured runs.
New pieces are born when the kiln opens, around each full moon.
Inês fires her kiln once a month, for twelve hours at 1280 °C. On the morning it opens, the new pieces appear here first.
Come and hold the pieces before you choose. There is always tea, and Inês is usually at the wheel, happy to pause and talk about clay.
